Chronic tinnitus is a syndrome that causes the affected persons to perceive noises. The perception is based on a hearing disorder. The causes are diverse. The condition occurs typically at the age from 40 to 50. For none of the numerous therapy methods a scientific effect verification could be determined so far. The rTMS constitutes a success-promising option for the treatment of chronic tinnitus.
